Building Engineer

What you will do

• Complete work orders and perform maintenance, repairs, and installations for machinery, tools, equipment, and building systems.
• Operate and maintain heating, air conditioning, utility systems, emergency panels, generators, and related facility infrastructure.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs, maintenance planning, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot equipment and maintenance issues and recommend improvements to operational efficiency and performance.
• Manage tools, supplies, inventory, departmental budget support, and facility documentation.
• Participate in safety activities and support onboarding and training on work practices, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior building maintenance, facilities maintenance, engineering support, or related technical experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers, office software, and energy management systems.
• Ability to learn complex commercial maintenance procedures and obtain Refrigerant Handling Certification.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills required.
