What you will do

• Assist with inorganic, organic, and polymer material and chemical screening, characterization, and metrology.
• Lead small development projects involving materials and chemical characterization, screening, and quality control.
• Conduct material and chemical testing and analysis.
• Maintain detailed laboratory records and safely handle chemicals.
• Support process engineers with material and chemical needs.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry, materials science, polymer science, or a related field.
• Good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.
• Availability to work physically in Santa Clara, California, for 6 months.
• Ability to learn quickly and safely handle different chemicals.

• Experience with materials characterization or analytical chemistry.
