Materials & Warehouse Supervisor (Automotive)

Location: Warsaw Manufacturing Site; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. Visa sponsorship is not available. Second-shift role.

Salary: $108,877–$163,316 annual base pay.

What you will do

• Supervise warehouse and material-handling staff across the second shift.
• Manage material flow, inventory levels, storage, stock movement, audits, and cycle counts.
• Coordinate purchase orders, replenishment schedules, supplier lead times, and inbound and outbound shipments.
• Use ERP/MRP systems to track material availability, consumption, and replenishment cycles.
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles, including JIT, Kanban, and pull systems.
• Plan staffing, coach team members, resolve material shortages, and drive warehouse efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience; equivalent alternatives include a master’s degree with 6 years or a PhD with 3 years.
• At least 3 years of warehouse management, materials supervision, or supply chain experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience leading hourly warehouse and material-handling personnel.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling, inventory control, and material forecasting.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, JIT, Kanban, and process improvement.
