Senior Specialist, Retail Finance (Automotive)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; 4–5 days per week in the office. Regular in-person meetings, partner and vendor visits, and approximately 10% domestic and international travel are required.

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Support end-to-end vehicle loan and lease transactions, including applications, approvals, funding, and documentation.
• Act as a subject matter expert on retail finance programs, rates, incentives, and customer financing options.
• Coordinate with delivery teams, external lenders, banks, and captive finance partners to resolve issues and complete transactions.
• Review documentation, monitor outstanding stipulations and funding conditions, support audits, and maintain accurate records.
• Own the operational design, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of retail finance programs.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and analyze financing conversion, funding, adoption, and operational performance metrics.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in automotive finance, retail finance operations, consumer lending, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of vehicle loan and lease processes and consumer finance regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred; high school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across functions.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel domestically and internationally approximately 10% of the time.

• Experience with direct-to-consumer automotive sales models.
