What you will do
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, mentoring, and coaching to software engineers.
- Design and architect complex software solutions and maintain alignment with cross-functional teams.
- Own multiple software components, ensuring robustness, availability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Plan and execute software projects for efficient, on-time delivery.
- Write high-quality code and participate in code reviews, testing, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with product management, QA, operations, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of software development experience, including substantial backend and cloud infrastructure experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in designing and developing high-performance, concurrent applications with Go.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, software design principles, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native computing.
- Experience with backend unit and integration testing methodologies and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, solve complex technical challenges, collaborate effectively, and mentor junior engineers.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Java, Python, or Ruby.
- Interest in keeping up with current software development trends and best practices.
