Electronics Technician (Industrial Controls)

Location: McCarran, NV, United States; onsite in an industrial shop and manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Lead daily fabrication tasks, shop workflows, and build and delivery schedules for custom industrial control panels.
• Support Controls and Manufacturing Engineering with equipment development, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Review and redline electrical schematics, layouts, BOMs, and drafting quality.
• Prepare time and material estimates for equipment builds and system upgrades.
• Maintain and upgrade control-system infrastructure and manage shop parts inventories.
• Onboard, train, and mentor entry-level technicians.

Requirements

• Strong electrical aptitude and experience with industrial equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on experience wiring 480V power systems, low-voltage controls, and instrumentation.
• Practical knowledge of UL508A, NEC, and NFPA 79 requirements.
• Experience with mechanical layout, metal cutting, stud welding, or light welding for control cabinets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to prioritize work, meet tight deadlines, and solve problems under pressure.
