TL;DR

Location: Onsite at the Rochester or Rush, NY locations

Salary: $94,000–$141,000 per year, plus potential annual incentive and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with customers, project managers, project coordinators, and internal teams to define and document project requirements.
  • Estimate process control projects and manage scope, schedules, and budgets.
  • Design electrical, instrumentation, and industrial process control systems.
  • Specify and integrate pressure, flow, temperature, and level instrumentation.
  • Develop bills of materials, obtain vendor quotations, and oversee component procurement.
  • Conduct site acceptance tests and support equipment installation and commissioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in electrical engineering and instrumentation within industrial automation or manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, instrumentation, hazardous-area design, and intrinsically safe equipment and wiring practices.
  • Experience in process environments such as chemical, glass batch, food, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Project estimation experience, strong problem-solving and risk-assessment skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority.
