Sr. Electrical Engineering Technician (Industrial Automation)

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial automation equipment in support of operations teams.
• Install, commission, decommission, calibrate, and troubleshoot sensors, motors, valves, and other industrial equipment.
• Build, install, and wire electrical control cabinets with Engineering support.
• Perform planned maintenance on electrical equipment.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in an E&I, I&C, Controls Technician, or similar role.
• Strong electrical safety mindset and willingness to work hands-on in the field.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and apply common industrial wiring standards.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for 24V–480V control systems, including VFD repair.
• Ability to read PLC programming, including ladder logic, Structured Text, and function block.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or other schematic software.
• PLC or HMI programming experience.
• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal, Siemens PLC hardware, Ignition, or other SCADA systems.
• Experience in a startup environment.
