Solution Consultant (Freight Audit and Pay)

Location: United States; the role supports customer meetings, workshops, and industry events across North America with an estimated 25–40% travel.

What you will do

• Own technical pursuit strategy for named enterprise accounts from initial technical discussions through contract signature.
• Lead discovery with logistics, finance, IT, and procurement stakeholders to map freight settlement processes and quantify business pain.
• Deliver tailored executive demos, technical deep dives, value engineering analyses, and reusable sales collateral.
• Structure and lead proof-of-concept engagements, coordinating milestones, engineering readiness, and customer communication.
• Demonstrate freight audit and pay capabilities, adjacent logistics spend domains, agentic AP, Spend Intelligence, and the broader AI decision platform.
• Partner with Account Executives, Product, Engineering, Implementation, Customer Success, and advisory firms on deal strategy, handoffs, roadmap feedback, enablement, and competitive positioning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics technology, including 3+ years in customer-facing pre-sales, solution consulting, or solution engineering.
• Domain expertise in freight audit and pay or related enterprise logistics finance workflows.
• Experience solutioning and closing enterprise SaaS deals with Fortune 1000 customers.
• Experience leveraging AI in enterprise sales pursuits and using AI tools or methodologies to improve discovery and deal execution.
• Ability to engage C-level and VP stakeholders and independently produce executive-grade written collateral.
• Working knowledge of enterprise security and compliance, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27017/27018, ISO 42001, CSA STAR, and data privacy frameworks, plus familiarity with ERP, TMS, EDI, API, and SFTP integrations.
