Senior Project Manager (Travel)

Location: Hybrid role based in San Jose, Costa Rica, or Bogota, Colombia

What you will do

• Lead project teams through definition, planning, execution, monitoring, and control phases.
• Create, maintain, and execute project work plans as requirements evolve.
• Manage day-to-day project operations, including risks, issues, dependencies, scope, schedule, and costs.
• Apply and enforce the hirify.global project management methodology and project standards.
• Coordinate steering committees, project status meetings, stakeholder communications, engagement reviews, and quality assurance procedures.
• Manage project budgets, accounting, progress reporting, invoicing, and delivery of the benefits defined in the business case.

Requirements

• University or engineering degree in Tourism; an MBA or equivalent is an asset.
• 5–10 years of experience in the travel industry.
• Previous experience in business solutions or delivery management as a Project or Program Manager in the travel industry.
• Advanced and specialized knowledge of project management, including experience with internal transformational projects.
• Project management certification or active progress toward certification.
• Excellent written and spoken English required.
