Program Director (Nursing)

What you will do

• Teach and facilitate nursing education across online didactic instruction, in-person skills labs, and clinical settings.
• Oversee, review, and continuously improve nursing program curriculum.
• Manage enrollment processes, including recruitment, admissions, orientation, and registration.
• Monitor student progress through grading, academic advising, performance support, and program completion.
• Hire, train, and supervise adjunct instructors while building a collaborative faculty environment.
• Manage Ohio healthcare employer partnerships, program budgets, resources, quality assessment, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse licensure in Ohio, or eligibility to obtain it
• Master’s degree in nursing
• At least 5 years of RN nursing practice experience.
• At least 2 years of faculty experience in a registered nursing education program, including Board of Nursing site visits and accreditation involvement.
• Experience teaching in didactic, skills lab, and clinical modalities, including Laerdal manikins or similar simulation technology.
• Experience with nursing education accreditation, Ohio Board of Nursing requirements, external partners, clinical sites, and cross-functional collaboration.
