Electrical Engineer III (Industrial Controls)

Location: St. Louis, Missouri, USA (onsite). Minimal travel may be required. Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship will be considered.

Salary: $100,000–$140,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage projects with primarily electrical scopes and assist project managers on major projects.
• Lead and provide technical guidance to engineers and designers through project completion.
• Plan and coordinate electrical, instrumentation, and controls design activities.
• Develop bid and construction document packages, specifications, equipment bids, procurement recommendations, and shop drawing reviews.
• Design medium- and low-voltage power distribution, lighting, grounding, PLC/DCS cabinets, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Track project budgets, schedules, scopes, submittals, revisions, and requests for information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in construction or heavy industrial projects.
• EIT certification with the ability to obtain a PE license within six months; PE preferred.
• Broad experience with industrial electrical project types and the ability to coordinate internal and external stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to lift 25 pounds and ascend industrial structures unaided.
• Onsite work in St. Louis, Missouri, USA is required. U.S. citizenship is preferred; sponsorship may be considered.
