Lead Software Engineer (Generative AI)

What you will do

• Architect robust software engineering solutions and frameworks with cross-product impact.
• Build systems and tools that enable enterprise applications to use generative AI technologies.
• Develop scalable end-to-end machine learning pipelines across distributed systems and heterogeneous hardware, including GPUs and TPUs.
• Research and implement efficient approaches for training and fine-tuning generative models with data scientists.
• Lead the long-term development of the generative AI product suite and technical design discussions across application architecture, UI, UX, backend, integrations, and testing.
• Manage project deliverables and mentor junior engineers on coding standards and design techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience with Python; Java and JavaScript experience is preferred.
• Experience designing and developing full-stack web solutions for complex problems.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, profiling, optimization, DRY code, and object-oriented and functional programming.
• In-depth understanding of machine learning and deep learning, with a proven record of applying machine learning algorithms in production.
• End-to-end project ownership, strong communication skills, and demonstrated interest in generative AI technologies such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or ChatGPT Plugins.

• Advanced degree in computer science, mathematics, or a similar quantitative field.
