Safety Coordinator

Location: Remote, work from home; Secret clearance required before starting

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop, coordinate, and monitor safety requirements for site surveys, warehouse operations, installation, testing, and restoration activities.
• Ensure personnel follow applicable safety plans, training requirements, hazard controls, and reporting procedures.
• Establish and document processes, methodologies, and standard operating procedures.
• Analyze and refine program requirements, including mission scope, objectives, resources, and stakeholder needs.
• Assess developing frameworks and strategies and recommend workflow and production improvements.
• Provide guidance to lower-level staff on safety and operational processes.

Requirements

• Secret security clearance required before starting.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and typically 6–8 years of experience, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Relevant safety certifications or experience applicable to the functional role.
• Ability to coordinate safety requirements, training, hazard controls, and reporting procedures.

Nice to have

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification.
• Certified Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
