What you will do

• Drive implementation of EHS management systems and injury prevention programs across the region.
• Partner with operations leadership to integrate EHS into business processes and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including OSHA and DOT.
• Lead investigations for serious incidents and high-potential events using root cause methodologies.
• Plan and execute corporate EHS audits across facilities, requiring travel.
• Analyze safety data and KPIs to identify trends and prioritize risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry developing and implementing safety programs.
• Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations is required.
• Experience with Safety Management or Learning Systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to disseminate safety and regulatory information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with all levels of management.
• Ability to work independently and travel for audits as needed.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) status or equivalent certification.
• Familiarity with hirify.global business tools like SAP, Workday, or Velocity EHS.
