Business Development Manager - Defleeting (Automotive)

Location: Munich, Germany; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Design, standardize, and scale end-to-end vehicle defleeting workflows across hirify.global Stations.
• Optimize turnaround times, damage-related costs, impairment expenses, customer revenue recovery, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage operational partnerships with OEMs, appraisers, and compound hubs.
• Align processes with Fleet, Customer Operations, Active Fleet, and Vehicle Logistics & Stations.
• Establish operational metrics and use data-driven insights to identify bottlenecks and improve cycle times.
• Identify automation and process optimization opportunities across the defleeting lifecycle.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Technology & Management, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in a high-performance environment such as a fast-scaling startup, scale-up, VC fund, or top-tier strategy consulting firm.
• Strong analytical skills, a data-driven mindset, bias to action, and structured independent project management capabilities.
• Excellent German skills at C1/C2 level and fluent professional English.

Nice to have

• Experience or strong interest in fleet management, vehicle logistics, remarketing, or automotive operations.
• Experience managing complex internal and external partner relationships in fast-paced operational environments.
