Location: Onsite in Salem, New Hampshire, USA; regional travel within Massachusetts (30β40%) and occasional travel across North America.
Salary: $54,000β$74,800 per year, plus medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), PTO, and other benefits.

What you will do
- Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on robotic bots, conveyors, lifts, motors, sensors, and material-handling equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled systems, electrical circuits, control panels, HMIs, drives, and electromechanical components.
- Diagnose equipment faults and operational disruptions to restore system functionality and minimize downtime.
- Monitor alarms, logs, system performance, and operational data to identify recurring faults and reliability concerns.
- Collaborate with customers, operations, hardware, software, systems engineering, and site leadership teams.
- Maintain CMMS records and troubleshooting documentation while supporting training, technical initiatives, and site go-live activities.
Requirements
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical engineering, electro-mechanical technology, mechatronics, automation technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience supporting automated systems in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or material-handling environments.
- Experience troubleshooting electromechanical equipment and repairing electrical circuitry, control panels, motors, sensors, and automation hardware.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, controls diagrams, and mechanical drawings and work in live operational environments.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance, breakdown response, equipment recovery, CMMS documentation, and customer-facing technical communication.
- Must comply with lockout/tagout, electrical safety, machine guarding, conveyor safety, fall protection, and other site safety requirements.
Nice to have
- OSHA, NFPA 70E, electrical safety, or vendor-specific automation certifications.
- Working knowledge of CMMS systems and maintenance documentation practices.
