TL;DR
Product Manager (Data Platforms and Legaltech): Building and scaling products that connect people in crisis with government benefits, compensation, and legal assistance with an accent on data-driven matching, personalization, and marketplace workflows. Focus on defining product vision and roadmaps, designing model-driven decision systems, running experiments, and coordinating engineering, design, data science, and legal partners.
Location: Fully remote, with travel to Los Angeles usually quarterly and for offsites

What you will do
- Develop product vision, strategy, and comprehensive roadmaps for the next phase of growth.
- Improve client-to-law-firm matching using case, geography, client, and firm preference data in partnership with Data Science.
- Interview partner law firms and prioritize features for future product launches.
- Work with Design and Engineering to define, prototype, build, and ship products and features.
- Optimize client outreach across channels and throughout the case lifecycle using call-center and case data.
- Own key targets and metrics, analyze data, develop hypotheses, run experiments, and iterate quickly.
Requirements
- 3+ years of product management experience building and shipping products at scale.
- Experience setting product vision and strategy and articulating key decisions and tradeoffs.
- Knowledge of product management best practices and the ability to help build a strong product culture.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with product managers, engineers, and designers.
- Strong mastery of data platforms and the ability to perform independent analysis.
- Commitment to helping people and doing socially meaningful work.
Nice to have
- Early-stage startup experience.
- Experience with complex consumer businesses, two-sided marketplaces, or B2B products.
