Product Manager (AI)

Location: London; hybrid working model with flexibility over where and when to work, plus the option to work abroad for up to 3 months per year.

What you will do

• Define and champion the product vision and strategy for the Covenants squad from the ground up.
• Own the roadmap for AI-powered legal document extraction and covenant analysis.
• Discover user needs and workflows across credit analysts, portfolio managers, restructuring advisors, lawyers, and law firms.
• Partner with software and AI engineering to establish evaluation frameworks for legal AI outputs.
• Track client and business outcomes, including the accuracy and reliability of AI models in legal contexts.
• Align engineers, legal analysts, credit specialists, customers, and other stakeholders around priorities and measurable outcomes.

Requirements

• Background in law, financial markets, legal technology, or building products for legal and credit-market users.
• Ability to understand and discuss credit agreements, covenant packages, and legal language governing capital structures.
• Experience defining product strategy from scratch and working effectively with ambiguous inputs.
• Hands-on experience or working knowledge of AI and LLMs, including evaluating model outputs in production.
• Understanding of precision, source attribution, explainability, and quality standards for high-stakes AI workflows.
• Collaborative leadership, prioritisation, stakeholder management, and strong communication across technical and professional audiences.
