Senior Program Manager (CM Product Launch)

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional new product launch programs at external contract manufacturing sites.
• Coordinate R&D, Operations, supply-chain teams, and contract manufacturers from planning through sustaining handoff.
• Build and maintain integrated schedules, milestones, risks, actions, dependencies, budgets, and resource plans.
• Ensure readiness across equipment, tooling, testing, materials, documentation, systems, staffing, training, quality, and capacity.
• Coordinate prototype, engineering, qualification, and production ramp builds while resolving launch issues.
• Lead readiness reviews, risk reviews, program reviews, executive updates, and continuous-improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, business, or a related field.
• 8 or more years of experience in program management, manufacturing, engineering, operations, or new product introduction.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional product launches and working with contract manufacturers or external manufacturing partners.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing readiness, product qualification, and production ramp.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to influence and drive accountability across global, matrixed teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in optical communications, electronics, semiconductor, photonics, or high-technology manufacturing.
• Experience with capital equipment deployment and manufacturing process qualification.
• Experience using Microsoft Project for complex cross-functional schedules.
• PMP certification or equivalent project-management training.
