Quality Technician, Energy Storage

Location: McCarran, Nevada, United States; onsite in an indoor production environment

hirify.global is localizing the battery supply chain through recovery, reuse, and recycling while producing energy storage and battery materials in the United States.

What you will do

• Conduct inspections, audits, testing, and sampling to evaluate product and process performance.
• Investigate product, in-process, and incoming quality issues through root cause analysis.
• Collect and analyze process and product data with engineering teams to define and verify specifications.
• Control and disposition non-conforming material, including rework to recover final yield.
• Support PFMEA, Control Plan, management of change, and quality improvement activities.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and cross-functional teams to validate new designs, equipment, and processes and meet safety, quality, and production goals.

Requirements

• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a technician, engineering technician, or in a similar role.
• Strong safety discipline, including LOTO, PPE, and safe work practices.
• Experience with quality tools, quality system elements, process data acquisition, and quality analysis.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with engineers and stakeholders across organizational levels.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions in an industrial production environment.

Nice to have

• Experience transitioning operations from development to high-volume manufacturing.
• Exposure to quality systems and international standards.

• Transition to a 12-hour shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM as operations scale.
