Quality & Test Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop inspection plans, acceptance criteria, work instructions, quality records, and traceability documentation.
• Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions for nonconformances in receiving, fabrication, and assembly.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and design engineering on tolerance stack-ups, process capability, Cpk, and statistical process control.
• Support supplier quality activities, including source inspections, supplier audits, and first article inspection reviews.
• Develop and execute functional, performance, and environmental test programs for procured and fabricated items.
• Contribute to the quality management system and participate in design and process FMEAs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or a related engineering discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in design, manufacturing, test, or process engineering.
• Knowledge of engineering fundamentals, including GD&T, basic statistics, and root cause methods such as 5-Why and fishbone analysis.
• Ability to read and mark up engineering drawings and CAD models.
• Strong written communication skills for documenting findings and driving corrective actions across teams.
• Formal quality experience is not required; experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment is a plus.
