Lead Software Engineer (C#)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid model with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote. Occasional remote work is available across Poland and internationally for up to 24 domestic and 20 international days per year, subject to internal policy.

hirify.global’s SimCorp Product Division develops and supports SimCorp Dimension, an investment management product.

What you will do

• Understand, challenge, and refine client requirements with the product team.
• Design and implement scalable, secure solutions aligned with the product architecture.
• Develop and integrate backend and middle-tier services and APIs using C# and related technologies.
• Improve engineering practices, including CI/CD pipelines, test-driven development, telemetry, code quality, and build performance.
• Support continuous product improvement and help reshape the product for the cloud.
• Develop recognized expertise in at least one product domain and support implemented solutions.

Requirements

• Advanced C# skills and knowledge of the .NET framework.
• Experience developing and integrating backend services and APIs.
• Interest in and ability to work with enterprise solution architecture.
• Ability and willingness to learn additional technologies, including Dyalog APL.
• Experience with CI/CD, test-driven development, telemetry, and related engineering practices.
• Good English skills and ability to work in an international environment. A master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is expected.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with financial instruments and financial investment systems.
• Experience using AI for prototyping, test improvement, documentation, code understanding, and routine task automation.
