Salary: EUR 3,600–5,675 gross per month

What you will do

• Configure Azure API Management for a digital banking transformation project.
• Design, implement, and operate enterprise APIM solutions, including policies, products, subscriptions, gateways, networking, and access controls.
• Support API governance, security, monitoring, troubleshooting, and platform modernization.
• Build APIM deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent CI/CD tools.
• Create standards, operational documentation, runbooks, and reusable implementation patterns.
• Train and mentor the client’s internal team on application usage and technical implementation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software, platform, or integration engineering, including 2+ years of hands-on Azure API Management experience.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, OpenAPI, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, certificates, and API security.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services, networking, identity, monitoring, and Azure Key Vault.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and API troubleshooting.
• English at Upper-Intermediate level or above required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AKS, Kubernetes, Helm, and APIM self-hosted gateways.
• AWS or hybrid-cloud experience.
• Experience with Ansible, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, SonarQube, Snyk, Trivy, or Checkmarx.
• Basic SQL and NoSQL database experience.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
