Senior Application Engineer - NMS

Location: Poland; hybrid work environment with at least 3 days per week in the office

Annual gross base pay: zł169,000–zł330,000

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions across new and existing applications, systems architecture, and infrastructure.
• Analyze system requirements and business processes, translating them into robust, tested, and maintainable code.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and market trends to inform technology decisions.
• Collaborate across functions and geographies on architecture, database design, software development, testing, and delivery.
• Mentor team members and promote continuous improvement and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 8 years of software engineering experience, including design, development, testing, and implementation of complex solutions.
• Experience developing and modifying software across multiple platforms with attention to compatibility, performance, and security.
• Strong understanding of systems architecture, application infrastructure, and the software development lifecycle.
• Clear communication skills and experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
• Ability to work from Poland in a hybrid setup with at least 3 days per week in the office.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or specialization in financial markets, finance, mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications in specialist technology disciplines.
• Experience with global teams or enterprise-scale systems in regulated industries.
