TL;DR
Product Engineer (AI): Building complete AI-backed products that integrate deeply with financial systems, with an accent on backend engineering, API design, and end-to-end product ownership. Focus on designing scalable architectures, optimizing databases, deploying cloud services, and delivering reliable systems through testing and continuous deployment.
Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work with in-person collaboration
Salary: PLN 25K–PLN 35K per month, plus equity.
Company
develops stablecoin payment account infrastructure combining digital assets with payments, banking, and treasury capabilities. The team is based in London, Warsaw, and New York.
What you will do
- Build and ship complete AI-backed products integrated with financial systems.
- Own product flows end to end, from ideation and system design through implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Design scalable, maintainable, and performant RESTful APIs and backend architectures.
- Work directly with product managers and stakeholders to translate product goals into shipped features.
- Deploy and operate cloud services while applying modern DevOps, CI/CD, testing, and observability practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of backend engineering experience with production systems using Node, Django, FastAPI, or Ruby on Rails.
- Strong API and system design skills, including experience with relational and non-relational databases, schema design, and performance optimization.
- Experience deploying and operating services on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with meaningful automated testing, continuous integration, continuous deployment, feature flags, and code quality practices.
- Hands-on daily use of AI tools for designing, coding, debugging, and shipping software.
- Fluent English and availability to work in a hybrid setup from the Warsaw office.
Nice to have
- Frontend experience with React.
- Experience in fintech, payments, treasury, or crypto systems.
- Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or Pulumi.
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture, microservices, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
- Open-source contributions or a strong personal portfolio.
