CFO (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Luxembourg, Luxembourg; Barcelona, Spain; Amsterdam, Netherlands; or London, UK. Three days per week in the office are expected, with the option to request additional remote time.

What you will do

• Lead finance for the Luxembourg-regulated entity and maintain its financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and fiscal oversight.
• Own local statutory accounts, regulatory filings, Group consolidation reporting, and adherence to Lux GAAP, IFRS, and applicable requirements.
• Manage treasury, cash forecasting, liquidity risks, client-fund safeguarding, and capital adequacy.
• Oversee financial control, controlling, month-end reporting, balance-sheet integrity, and management information.
• Represent hirify.global before regulators, tax authorities, and external auditors, and coordinate annual audits.
• Integrate local finance operations, reporting, treasury, and planning with Group Finance.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of leadership experience in financial roles at a primary EU financial hub or within Luxembourg-regulated payment institutions, EMIs, or banks.
• Deep knowledge of CRR/CRD directives, CSSF requirements, Luxembourg accounting, Lux GAAP/IFRS, and safeguarding standards.
• Eligibility under the CSSF fit-and-proper criteria for designation as an authorized director or manager.
• Experience with treasury, financial control, statutory and regulatory reporting, audits, capital and liquidity management, and finance operations in regulated financial services.
• Strong understanding of Group consolidation, financial governance, and collaboration with auditors, regulators, and supervisory authorities.
• Complete fluency in English.
