Branch Manager (Banking)

Salary: $68,400–$114,000 annually

What you will do

• Manage branch activities, operations, profitability, sales performance, and annual business goals.
• Lead, coach, develop, interview, and select branch staff while managing performance and staffing decisions.
• Identify Retail and Business Banking customer needs and grow business relationships through proactive outreach and community engagement.
• Oversee customer servicing, complex account issues, error resolution, and timely issue ownership.
• Process Business Banking loan requests up to $250,000 and bundle appropriate products and services.
• Maintain operational controls, regulatory compliance, security procedures, audit actions, and fraud prevention standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and two years of managerial experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong knowledge of Business Banking products, services, profitability, and client relationship management.
• Ability to coach exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with employees and business partners.
• Ability to use common PC software, including Microsoft Office, word processing, spreadsheets, internet, and email.
• Maintain SAFE Act registration requirements, M&T certifications, and required Business Banking and insurance licensing within the specified timeframes.
