Senior Software Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own the development of internal tooling for finance, treasury, and operations.
• Build reliable experiences across the stack, primarily with Python and occasionally Kotlin.
• Design and ship user-facing features end to end with product and design partners.
• Write well-tested, reusable, high-quality code and participate in release planning and deployments.
• Mentor team members and provide project timeline estimates.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building API applications with Python or Kotlin.
• Experience with AWS services including ECS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and EventBridge.
• Experience owning user-facing features from conception through launch.
• Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional, fast-paced environments.
• Experience building systems with real-world performance and reliability constraints.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities and stakeholder expectations.

Nice to have

• Experience developing event-driven systems.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools.
• Strong standards for code review, unit testing, and documentation.
• Interest in contributing to frontend development.
