Senior Software Engineer (Python)

Building an AI-driven financial operating system for European healthcare that automates administrative workflows, billing, and payments for medical practices and patients.

What you will do

• Build and maintain the Python backend with FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLModel or SQLAlchemy, and PostgreSQL including pgvector.
• Design APIs and data models that power the healthcare fintech platform.
• Contribute to TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js applications across the stack.
• Build AI-powered workflows using language models, orchestration frameworks, and evaluation tooling.
• Build, deploy, and operate AWS services with infrastructure managed through Terraform.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data to define architecture and deliver user-focused features.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Python proficiency and experience with a modern web framework such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Experience with API and data modeling, Pydantic, SQL or ORMs, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS; Terraform experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the full development life cycle.
• Pragmatic mindset, strong ownership, teamwork, and excellent communication skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience building LLM or AI-agent solutions in production.
