Supply Chain Specialist (Japanese)

hirify.global is hiring for supply chain operations supporting a Japanese automotive client.

What you will do

• Process customer orders through EDI, email, and other channels, including order entry, shipping, and invoicing.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments with warehouses, freight forwarders, carriers, suppliers, and customers.
• Prepare shipping documentation, Advanced Shipping Notices, purchase orders, and logistics records.
• Monitor forecasts and inventory levels, reconcile records, maintain ERP and database accuracy, and develop delivery schedules.
• Support prototype, service-parts, and material procurement from internal group companies and external vendors.
• Analyze logistics, warehouse, and transportation costs while improving ERP/EDI processes, warehouse integrations, SOPs, and supply chain continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred, or at least two years of relevant supply chain, logistics, or customer service experience.
• Experience in supply chain operations, inventory management, logistics coordination, or order management.
• Working knowledge of ERP/EDI systems, inventory databases, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, mathematical, problem-solving, communication, and logistics-planning skills.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation, customs procedures, Incoterms, and international trade regulations is preferred.
• Superior English and Japanese skills required; native or native-like Japanese proficiency preferred.
