TL;DR
Senior Specialist, Parts Logistics (Automotive): Developing and optimizing end-to-end parts logistics processes for order fulfillment, transportation, warehousing, and packaging with an accent on Lean and Six Sigma improvement, process standardization, and digital enablement. Focus on defining logistics KPIs, building data-driven dashboards, aligning ERP/WMS/TMS capabilities, and driving cross-functional operational excellence.

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; 4–5 days per week in the office with regular in-person meetings and occasional travel.

Salary: $110,000–$135,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

  • Develop and optimize end-to-end parts logistics processes covering order fulfillment, transportation, warehousing, and packaging.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies.
  • Standardize logistics processes, tools, workflows, and best practices across regions, teams, and functions.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to translate logistics needs into process requirements and support ERP, WMS, and TMS changes.
  • Define logistics KPIs and support dashboards and reporting for delivery performance, cost, accuracy, and cycle time.
  • Establish process governance, documentation standards, training, change management, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in parts logistics, supply chain operations, or process improvement.
  • Experience with ERP, WMS, and TMS systems and business requirements gathering.
  • Strong process improvement, analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with data tools such as Excel or Power BI and with project management.
  • Ability to work in the Charlotte corporate office 4–5 days per week and travel occasionally for company events.

Nice to have

  • Six Sigma certification at Green Belt level or higher.
  • Experience in an aftersales or service parts environment.
