Commercial Operations Specialist (Battery Materials)

hirify.global is localizing the global battery supply chain through battery recovery, reuse, recycling, energy storage, and battery-material production.

What you will do

• Process purchase orders, pricing updates, and commercial transactions for battery feedstock programs.
• Maintain reporting workflows, including data merging, validation, and distribution to internal teams and external partners.
• Lead invoicing and settlement processes, resolve discrepancies, and support accurate reporting for $2–5M+ in quarterly spend.
• Manage the supplier lifecycle from onboarding and program setup through ongoing operational support and settlement.
• Act as the primary operational contact for feedstock partners and resolve partner-facing issues through completion.
• Maintain and improve SOPs, support team onboarding, and lead systemic process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in commercial operations, supply chain, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, complex lookups, data merging, and validation.
• Ability to own processes end-to-end with minimal oversight.
• Strong external communication skills and confidence serving as a named partner contact.
• Experience writing or improving operational SOPs.

Nice to have

• Experience with battery or EV materials and feedstock programs.
• ERP or CRM proficiency.
