Senior Engineer, Electrical Engineering (Semiconductor)

Salary: $100,000–$140,000 per year, based on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and performance evaluation of electrostatic chucks for OEM applications.
• Conduct research, modeling, prototyping, and performance testing to meet customer and product requirements.
• Define test parameters, specifications, and reliability criteria, and analyze prototype data using statistical methods.
• Perform failure analysis and root-cause investigations to improve product performance.
• Manage new product and technology development projects, including goals, success criteria, risk assessment, and timelines.
• Lead test equipment selection and qualification, including MSA and engineering validation, while collaborating cross-functionally.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in R&D or technical product development.
• Strong knowledge of electrostatics, electrical circuits, insulation systems, and high-voltage systems up to 20kV.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and testing electrical systems.
• Experience with electrical field modeling tools such as ANSYS, COMSOL, MATLAB, or SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma, DOE, FMEA, and MSA methodologies, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment.
