  • Experience designing and developing power electronics systems, including protection, control, and mechanical integration.
  • Knowledge of inverter topologies, semiconductor devices such as IGBTs and MOSFETs, magnetic components, gate-drive circuits, and device protection.
  • Experience with PLECS, PSPICE, MATLAB, or similar modeling and simulation tools.
  • Experience with power conversion equipment above 10 MW, packaging design, thermal management, and hands-on laboratory testing using oscilloscopes and other measurement equipment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lb and work in an industrial facility with heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead, high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on power electronics.
  • Experience applying electrical engineering skills to construction, manufacturing, testing, and field installations.
  • Knowledge of IEC, UL, CSA, NEC, and other electrical compliance standards.
  • Experience with root-cause analysis, field containment, prototype construction, testing, and documentation.
  • Experience scaling independent systems to higher-power configurations.

Culture & Benefits

  • Equity and competitive compensation.
  • 13 company-wide holidays, flexible vacation days, and 10 sick days.
  • Generous parental leave and health, dental, and vision insurance.
