People Operations & Talent Acquisition

What you will do

• Own end-to-end recruitment, from sourcing through offers, and build strong talent pipelines across multiple geographies.
• Partner with hiring managers and leadership on hiring strategy, workforce planning, organisational design, and scaling initiatives.
• Oversee employee lifecycle operations, payroll, employee records, contracts, and People systems.
• Develop and refine People policies and processes from 0 to 1 while ensuring compliance with local labour laws and international employment frameworks.
• Act as a trusted partner for employee relations, engagement initiatives, internal communications, and cross-functional projects.
• Provide operational support to leadership, including scheduling, coordination, and follow-ups.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in People or HR, including recruitment, People operations, and generalist responsibilities.
• Experience building People functions, processes, and policies from 0 to 1 in a startup or high-growth scale-up.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams and hiring across multiple geographies.
• Strong knowledge of global hiring practices and international talent markets.
• Strong understanding of Singapore and Malaysia Employment Acts, with additional international employment framework experience preferred.
• Hands-on payroll management, multi-country compliance, strong stakeholder communication, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with execution.

Nice to have

• Experience managing regional or multi-country People operations.
• Familiarity with Ashby and Revolut People.
• Experience working closely with founders or senior leadership in a high-growth environment.
• Experience scaling hiring engines for global teams across EMEA, APAC, and the US.
