Senior Technical Writer (AI)

What you will do

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and user experience designers to understand products and audiences.
• Plan and design targeted, AI-ready information experiences for business and technical users.
• Create and maintain reusable technical content for platforms, services, user interfaces, and APIs.
• Model and maintain content structures, taxonomies, and metadata for human and AI-assisted information discovery.
• Analyze analytics, search logs, chat transcripts, feedback, and product usage to identify information gaps and prioritize improvements.
• Experiment with AI-ready content practices and improve documentation and AI workflows through cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience creating content for enterprise software applications.
• Excellent writing and communication skills with strong technical aptitude.
• Ability to adapt or write code samples that explain how features work.
• Knowledge of information architecture, modular structured content, metadata, and information delivery.
• Understanding of web applications and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Understanding of AI concepts including prompts, grounding content, retrieval, and evaluation criteria; willingness to work in a distributed global team.

Nice to have

• Experience with DITA, Markdown, docs-as-code, and Git/GitHub.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience with static site generators such as Docusaurus.
• Experience designing content models, taxonomies, or ontologies for technical content and knowledge used by AI assistants, chatbots, or advanced search.
