Junior Credit Fundamental Research Analyst (Credit)

Location: London, New York, or Paris

Salary: Minimum base salary of $150,000 annually if located in New York; discretionary bonuses and benefits may also apply.

What you will do

• Collect information, attend investor presentations, perform credit analysis, and prepare credit memos under senior analyst supervision.
• Monitor issuer fundamentals and market dynamics across covered sectors and regions, including earnings and other significant events.
• Analyze corporate bonds and loans across the full risk spectrum.
• Support the buildout of the Squarepoint CLO platform with CLO portfolio managers and debt capital markets leads.
• Contribute to hedge fund strategies focused on primary markets, short duration, and alpha capture.

Requirements

• Advanced degree from a top university in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of relevant experience in credit research, leveraged finance, investment banking, M&A, buy-side credit, CLOs, credit hedge funds, or relevant Big 4 teams.
• Experience researching, analyzing, and modelling data, ideally through internships or a related position.
• Excellent writing, communication, information synthesis, and organization skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and regions, manage pressure, and deliver under tight timelines.

• Python coding skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
