Trader (Crypto)

Location: New York City, United States; full-time, in-person role. Trading operations cover Saturday through Wednesday, with a potential transition to a Monday–Friday trading position after an 18-month term.

Base pay: $106,000–$167,000 USD per year, plus potential performance-linked bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Trade and manage positions across crypto spot and derivatives markets.
• Coordinate with global trading teams to maintain continuous 24/7 market coverage.
• Capture trades accurately and maintain high-quality data flow in risk systems.
• Execute position reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
• Compile and analyze trading metrics.
• Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to maintain records and investigate discrepancies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1–4 years of trading or trading support experience at a bank, proprietary trading firm, or market-making firm.
• Basic understanding of options theory and Greek risks.
• Strong interest in crypto and macroeconomic markets.
• Personal experience with blockchain protocols and an understanding of crypto liquidity conditions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a team-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Crypto trading experience.
• Coding skills in Python and SQL.
