Associate, Banker

Location: New York, NY, United States. International travel to Latin America is required for 20% of the time.

Annual base salary: $175,000–$200,000.

What you will do

• Structure, analyze, and execute bonds, private placements, debentures, securitizations, loans, and liability management transactions.
• Support live deal execution, including due diligence, transaction documentation, negotiations, and coordination with investment banks and other stakeholders.
• Review financial, operating, credit, collateral, and concession agreements for financial modeling, projected cash flows, and transaction structuring.
• Analyze financing needs, capital structures, accounting and regulatory statements, debt and equity filings, and financial projections.
• Prepare DCF, debt sizing and structuring, comparable companies, and precedent transactions analyses across multiple sectors.
• Support roadshows and client marketing materials, present financing alternatives, and mentor junior analysts and interns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• At least two years of experience in the offered role or a related role.
• Two years of experience with credit analysis, operating, discounted cash flow, and leveraged buyout financial models.
• Experience with due diligence, transaction documentation, capital structures, refinancing capacity, and financing transactions exceeding $200 million in deal value.
• Experience supporting equity and debt financing transactions, including coordination with rating agencies and capital markets specialists.
• Availability for international travel to Latin America for 20% of working time is required.
