Corporate Development Associate (Fintech)

Salary: USD 100,000–150,000 per year, plus discretionary performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Support venture investment rounds, including deal structuring, term negotiation, and coordination with Corporate Finance, Tax, Accounting, and Legal teams.
• Monitor portfolio companies, track key performance indicators, and prepare updates for the Investment Committee.
• Source and evaluate investment opportunities across technology and finance sectors.
• Conduct market research, due diligence, technology assessments, financial modeling, valuation, and returns analysis.
• Develop investment recommendations and strategic finance materials for senior management and internal or external audiences.
• Build relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, angel investors, venture firms, co-investors, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience at a top-tier investment bank, consulting firm, trading firm, technology-focused financial company, or in a similar corporate strategy role.
• Strong interest in venture capital and investing.
• BA/BS in finance, a technical field, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, analytical, quantitative, technical, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in the New York, NY, United States location.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of financial services and capital markets.
• Interest in or exposure to AI, infrastructure, semiconductors, systems software, or developer tools.
• Technical or engineering experience.
• Familiarity with Python and SQL.
