Business Development Associate

Location: Hybrid role supporting Flix's US West region.

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 USD per year.

Flix operates a technology-driven intercity travel platform focused on making bus travel more accessible, sustainable, and affordable.

What you will do

• Identify and secure new partnerships with intercity bus operators and relevant stakeholders in the US West region.
• Manage and develop existing partner relationships to support mutual growth and profitability.
• Research markets, trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes to inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with Network Planning, Operations, Finance, and Marketing on strategy execution.
• Develop processes, coordinate cross-functional projects, and ensure timely delivery.
• Analyze partner performance and optimize network strategy using data-driven insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in business development, sales, account management, or another externally facing strategic role.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to build relationships with companies and stakeholders, work autonomously, and manage ambiguity.
• Comfort with cold calling and prospecting to develop new business relationships.

• Professional fluency in Spanish.
