Platform Engineer (Ansible)

What you will do

• Design and maintain platforms across Linux and Windows environments.
• Build reusable deployment automation with Ansible and standardize platforms across internal and customer environments.
• Improve provisioning, upgrades, migrations, testing, and platform lifecycle management.
• Develop portable solutions using virtualization and container technologies, while supporting application and database migrations.
• Integrate automated testing into deployment workflows and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Support critical customer deployments, participate in an out-of-hours on-call rotation, and contribute to platform architecture and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation, including production environment support.
• Advanced Linux knowledge and good Windows Server/IIS experience.
• Strong Ansible expertise is essential.
• Shell and/or PowerShell scripting, CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, or TFS, and Git version-control workflows.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V, or Incus, plus knowledge of containers, high availability, load balancing, and networking.
• Fluency in French is required. Basic SQL knowledge, preferably with PostgreSQL or SQL Server, is expected.

• Experience defining platform architecture, mentoring colleagues, or leading automation initiatives.
• English proficiency.
