Senior Platform Engineer

Location: Lisbon - Carnaxide, Portugal; hybrid working model

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate infrastructure and platform components across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Maintain high availability, security, performance, and reliability of platform services.
• Develop automation for provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and daily platform operations.
• Operate production platforms, manage incidents, and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify technical risks and improvement opportunities while supporting platform evolution and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in platform, infrastructure, systems, or cloud engineering within complex, large-scale environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and infrastructure architecture across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
• Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools, Prometheus, Grafana, Sonar, Black Duck, JFrog Artifactory, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Experience with containers and orchestration.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model from Lisbon - Carnaxide, Portugal.
