Platform Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain build infrastructure for a large TypeScript and NodeJS codebase.
• Define and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes and best practices with software developers and platform engineers.
• Identify pipeline bottlenecks and performance issues, and implement automation to improve the development experience.
• Develop scalable platform features that improve the reliability, availability, and scalability of software delivery processes.
• Manage and improve stateful Kubernetes workloads, including operations, scaling, troubleshooting, and production reliability.
• Build custom operators and AI-powered platform capabilities that automate engineering workflows and improve CI/CD, observability, testing, and release processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with backend systems, integrations, or CI/CD pipelines in a high-performing engineering team.
• Experience building reusable components and libraries with an understanding of scalable architecture.
• Thorough knowledge of Linux, Docker, and CI tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Experience designing, implementing, and documenting API services.
• Strong communication, documentation, ownership, troubleshooting, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Experience with stateful Kubernetes workloads and custom operators is required for the platform scope.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the NodeJS and TypeScript ecosystems and automated build and testing tools.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Python, Golang, Terraform, and Azure Cloud.
