Senior Platform Engineer (AWS)

Location: Remote; preference given to East Coast candidates

What you will do

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable cloud platform solutions supporting multiple applications and services.
• Create modular infrastructure with Terraform and related Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and strengthen DevOps automation across teams.
• Implement monitoring, logging, IAM, firewall, and SIEM solutions to support reliability, performance, and security.
• Modernize infrastructure, troubleshoot cloud issues, optimize resource utilization, and plan for future scaling.
• Lead assigned projects, participate in on-call rotation, and use generative AI tools such as Claude and Copilot to improve delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in platform, cloud, or SRE engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Working knowledge of Python, Bash, PowerShell, Git, containerization tools, and Infrastructure as Code frameworks.
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines, applying Agile and SDLC practices, and transitioning legacy environments to modern cloud practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work amid ambiguity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
