TL;DR
Talent Acquisition & People Operations Specialist (Recruiting/People Operations): Building scalable hiring and employee operations across Latin America with an accent on end-to-end recruitment, sourcing strategy, payroll, benefits, and compliance. Focus on improving recruiting pipelines and candidate experience, using data and AI tools, and managing people processes under Mexican labor law.
Location: Mexico City, Mexico. Remote-friendly setup with at least 3 hours of daily time-zone overlap.

What you will do
- Source, screen, and hire talent across Latin America in technology, product, business, and other functions.
- Own the full recruitment cycle, build proactive pipelines, and improve sourcing strategies using market intelligence.
- Partner with hiring managers across countries and functions while tracking recruitment KPIs such as time-to-hire, time-to-fill, and pipeline conversion.
- Manage payroll accurately and on time in compliance with Mexican labor law.
- Administer health insurance, employee benefits, contracts, compliance, documentation, and employee queries.
- Use Ashby, recruitment tools, and AI to improve hiring and people operations processes.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of experience in a similar role, with talent acquisition as the core focus and exposure to people operations.
- Experience in a startup or scale-up environment.
- Fluent English and Spanish.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership, creativity, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfort with recruitment KPIs, data-driven decision-making, and AI productivity tools.

- Experience with Ashby ATS.
- Experience in international and distributed teams.
- Recruiting experience across Latin America.
- Fintech sector experience.
- Experience using AI to redesign workflows or build projects.
