Pre-Litigation Associate

Location: Remote, based anywhere in the United States; Pacific Time Zone hours required.

Salary: $60,000–$73,000 annually plus equity.

What you will do

• Open insurance claims and serve as the primary liaison with adjusters and carriers.
• Request, track, and organize medical records, bills, and police reports.
• Monitor treatment progression and outcomes while communicating with clients throughout the pre-litigation process.
• Identify and resolve lien and subrogation issues.
• Collaborate with lead paralegals to prepare complete case files for demand.
• Maintain case timelines, meet milestones, and improve operational efficiency, documentation, and file integrity.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in personal injury legal operations, case management, or insurance claims.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and accountable.
• Experience executing processes accurately in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Clear, professional communication with clients, medical providers, attorneys, and insurers.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Availability for Pacific Time Zone hours.
