SAP Senior Basis Architect (Automotive)

Salary: $171,191.48–$285,319.13 USD annual base pay

What you will do

• Design, architect, and size complete SAP landscapes with high availability and disaster recovery.
• Lead greenfield SAP RISE implementations, full lifecycle projects, large-scale migrations, and S/4HANA upgrades.
• Build and configure SAP BTP services, including Integration Suite/CPI, SAC, Datasphere/DWC, IAS/IPS, Business Application Studio, and Cloud Connectors.
• Architect high-availability clusters and administer HANA, MSSQL, and Oracle databases across cloud and on-premises landscapes.
• Manage system refreshes, client copies, transports, maintenance windows, production changes, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Remediate critical security vulnerabilities and collaborate with development, functional, infrastructure, cybersecurity, audit, and vendor teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience, including architect or lead-level responsibility.
• Expertise with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, NetWeaver ABAP/Java, Solution Manager, and SAP BTP services.
• Experience with SWPM, SUM, full lifecycle implementations, system copies, upgrades, migrations, and SAP workloads on AWS and/or Azure.
• Strong database administration experience with HANA, MSSQL, and Oracle, plus high-availability clustering with SUSE HAWK and Microsoft Failover Cluster Manager.
• Working knowledge of SAP security, CVE/CVSS vulnerability remediation, SSO/MFA, audit requirements, SUSE Linux, Red Hat Linux, Windows Server, and AIX.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP RISE greenfield implementations, SAP Signavio, SAP Build, SAP GTS, GRC, PO/PI, Enterprise Portal, BOBJ, ADS, SAP LVM/LAMA, SARA, and DVM.
• Relevant SAP certifications.
