Primary Support Engineer (SAP BASIS HANA)

What you will do

• Solve complex customer issues using methodical troubleshooting for SAP applications.
• Provide remote functional support and training for specialist SAP modules.
• Manage key assigned accounts as a technical and functional advisor.
• Develop application break fixes and scripts to correct data issues.
• Collaborate in a virtual team environment to share field experience and diagnostic methodologies.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support a 24/7/365 operation.

Requirements

• Must be based in Japan
• 10+ years of relevant SAP experience, specifically with Basis, Middleware, and Enterprise Portal Administration.
• Experience in SAP HANA configuration, installation, administration, and migrations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA SPS03/10 and HANA modeling.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BODS, SLT, and SDA for data extraction.
• Proficiency in multiple operating systems (AIX, Linux, Windows) and databases.

Nice to have

• SAP certifications.
• Consulting background.
• Experience with OpenText Archive Center and xECM for SAP.
• Knowledge of SAP Industry Solutions or country-specific localizations.
